Many people are looking for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and artist Ozzy Villate wants to provide it.
This photo of Neil Diamond, right, and impersonator Jay White was signed by the legendary crooner in December 2002. White is circulating a petition to have Diamond inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

With the recent shuttering of a prominent contemporary art gallery, downtown's future as a diverse arts district is looking uncertain.
Smash Mouth, whose original members were Steve Harwell, Greg Camp and Paul DeLisle, will perform at the Silverton Jan. 3. Camp, the guitarist who started the Smash Mouth with Harwell about 15 years ago, left to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Leroy Miller.

If Smash Mouth front man Steve Harwell could have it his way, he always perform in Las Vegas.
